Sterling's Amish Deli

An era of late-night comfort food has come to a close at Sterling’s Amish Deli, located at 133 E Wooster St. After six years of serving the Bowling Green community, owner Steven Sterling announced in January 2026 that the deli would be closing its doors for good. Known for its massive "Garbage Can" subs, hand-battered cheese curds, and fried Oreos, Sterling’s was a beloved fixture for "sobering up" students and providing wholesome, Amish-sourced meats and cheeses to locals.
