The "Be Free!" Giveaway contest is a monthly drawing of an undisclosed prize donated by one of Bowling Green, OH's attractions and hospitality industries including retail shops and restaurants. The drawings are held the first of every month and the winner is notified via email and phone.

If the winner should fail to claim his/her prize within one week of notification of winning, a second name will be chosen from that month's entries and the next winner will be notified. This continues until the winner claims his/her prize, or until the next month's winner is chosen wherein the unclaimed prize is forfeited.
